On Feb 27, 2024, WordPress released a statement announcing its intention to give users a chance to decide if they want their data used for training AI or not. In this guide, we'll share step-by-step directions on how to stop AI from training with your data on WordPress.

These steps are easy to follow and by the end, you would have opted out of WordPress data training policy.

  • Step 1: Log in to your WordPress site.
  • Step 2: Go to “Settings
  • Step 3: Next, click on “General
  • Step 4: Go to “Privacy Section
  • Step 5: In the Privacy Settings tab, toggle the switch that says “Prevent third-party data sharing” option.
