How to Create Email Filters on Gmail? (Web Version)
Open Gmail on your browser
Login to your Gmail account
Locate and click on the Filter icon next to the search bar
- Establish your filter criteria
Enter the specific criteria that determine which emails should be filtered, such as the sender, recipient, keywords, and more.
From: Fill in to filter emails received from a certain sender
To: Fill in to filter emails sent to a certain recipient
Subject: Fill in to filter emails that include certain words in the subject line
Includes the words: Fill in to filter emails that contain certain words in the email content
Doesn’t have: Fill in to filter emails that do not contain certain words
Size: Fill in to filter emails based on their size
Has Attachment: Tick the box to filter emails that include attachments
- Click on “Create filter”
